NTN presents 2018 ツアー・オブ・ジャパン

チームオーナーは元F1ドライバーの片山右京氏。2017年UCIアジアツアーチームランキング1位を獲得した国内屈指のUCIコンチネンタルチームがツアー・オブ・ジャパン史上初となる大会3連覇を狙う。ここまで2連覇中のエース、オスカル・プジョル選手（スペイン）を筆頭に、日本のレースを知り尽くしているベンジャミ・プラデス選手（スペイン）、今シーズンすでにツール・ド・台湾でステージ優勝を挙げている新加入のオールラウンダー、ロビー・ハッカー選手（オーストラリア）、同じく新戦力となるスプリンター、レイモンド・クレダー選手（オランダ）もツール・ド・とちぎやツアー・オブ・タイランドでステージ優勝を飾っており、今年もツアー・オブ・ジャパンの中心的存在となるのは間違いない。また、日本人選手についても全日本チャンピオンの畑中勇介選手を中心に実力者を数多く揃えている。

The Japanese UCI Continental Team owned by a former F1 driver Ukyo Katayama, was ranked top in 2017 UCI Asia Tour Ranking and attempts for their 3rd consecutive triumph of Tour of Japan, which is not accomplished by anyone yet. Besides Oscar PUJOL (Spain), the final GC leader for past two events, the team consists of many skilled riders which assures the team to take major role in our race again: Benjami PRADES (Spain), an expert of races in Japan; a new face all-rounder Robbie HUCKER (Australia) who won a stage in Tour de Taiwan early this season; and also newly joined Raymond KREDER (Netherlands) has already claimed stage victory in Tour de Tochigi and Tour of Thailand. Last, but not least, national champion Yusuke HATANAKA also takes part in this champion team, along with other Japanese talents.
