NTN presents 2018 ツアー・オブ・ジャパン

チーム発足2年目となる世界最高峰のUCIワールドチームが今年もツアー・オブ・ジャパンに登場！絶対的な存在であるヴィンチェンツォ・ニバリ（イタリア）は今季世界5大クラシックレースのひとつであるミラノ～サンレモで勝利を挙げチームに高い士気をもたらした。実に11カ国もの選手が所属する国際色豊かな中東バーレーンのチームには、世界のトップライダーが所属しており、どの様なロースターで今年のツアー・オブ・ジャパンを戦うのか注目されるところ。2016年のツアー・オブ・ジャパン伊豆ステージで劇的な復活勝利を挙げた日本の英雄、新城幸也選手のほか、日本ではまだ知られていない“金のたまご”的な本場の若手プロ選手たちの走りにも期待。昨年のツアー・オブ・ジャパンに出場しポイント賞2位の活躍をみせたイバン・ガルシア選手（スペイン）は、その後の本場のレースで目を見張る活躍をみせ、現在、世界的にも注目を集める若手選手へと成長している。

One of the greatest UCI World Team returns to Tour of Japan for its second season since its establishment. This season, the absolute star Vincenzo NIBALI (Italy) has already contributed in raising the team’s spirit by winning one of the five major classic, Milano-Sanremo. Many world top riders are in the line-up of this team based in the middle east country with varieties of 11 different nationalities, making it much entertaining to wait and see which roster the team will send to Tour of Japan. Not only Yukiya ARASHIRO who achieved dramatic victory in Izu Stage for 2016 Tour of Japan, there are lot more promising riders to look out for. In fact, Ivan GARCIA (Spain) has spent successful season after he ended 2nd in Points Classification for 2017 Tour of Japan, now stepping up as a recognized talent worldwide.
