今大会の日本ナショナルチームは、今夏パリ2024五輪の大舞台を控えた自転車トラック競技中距離種目の日本代表選手で構成。昨年のTOJ東京ステージでは、スプリント勝負で勝利を収めた窪木一茂選手を筆頭に確かな実力と経験を兼ね備えたメンバーが揃う。今年2月に香港で開催されたUCIトラックネイションズカップ第2戦では、海外の強豪ひしめく中、チームパシュートで銀メダルを獲得。オムニアムでは兒島直樹選手、マディソンでは橋本英也選手と窪木一茂選手が銅メダルを獲得しており、脚力とレース感に磨きがかかっていることを証明した。今年のTOJでもスプリント・ステージに照準を合わせ、チーム一丸となって確実に勝利を狙う。
The Japanese National Team for this year's event consists of riders representing Japan in the middle-distance cycling track events before the big stage of the Paris 2024 Olympics this summer. Led by Kazushige Kuboki, who won the sprint competition in last year's TOJ Tokyo stage, the team is made up of riders with solid abilities and experience. At the UCI Track Nations Cup Round 2 held in Hong Kong in February this year, Kuboki won the silver medal in Team Pursuit against a strong field of overseas competitors. Naoki KOJIMA won the bronze medal in the Omnium, and Hideya HASHIMOTO and Kazushige KUBOKI won bronze in the Madison, proving that their leg strength and racing sense have been refined. This year's TOJ will again focus on the sprint stages, and the team will work as one to ensure victory.
