JCL TEAM UKYOは、「日本国籍のチームとして史上初めてツール・ド・フランスに出場し、表彰台に登ること」を最大目標として2023年に発足。今シーズンからイタリア・ミラノにチーム拠点を移し、欧州を主戦場にシーズンを戦っている。日本人選手を世界に輩出していくルートとなり国内の競技力や認知度向上にも寄与していく。TOJでは、個人総合・チーム総合の2冠連覇中であり、今年もホームレースの信州飯田ステージと相模原ステージを中心に、日本のファンの前で走れることを楽しみつつ3連覇を目指す。
JCL TEAM UKYO was established in 2023 with the primary goal of becoming the first Japanese nationality team ever to compete in the Tour de France and achieve a podium finish. From this season, the team has moved its base to Milan, Italy, and is competing mainly in Europe.This will be a route for producing Japanese riders to the world, and will also contribute to improving the competitiveness and recognition of the event in Japan. We have won this event twice in a row, both in the individual and team overall categories, so this year we will again focus on our home races, the Shinshu-Iida and Sagamihara stages, and enjoy being able to ride in front of everyone in Japan, aiming for our third consecutive victory, so please cheer for us!
