ワンティ・NIPPO・リユーズ

ワンティ・NIPPO・リユーズは、UCIワールドチーム アンテルマルシェ・ワンティ が2023年に立ち上げた育成を主軸としたベルギーのUCIコンチネンタルチームで、元プロ選手のケビン・ヴァン・メルセンの指導のもと、過去2シーズンでヨーロッパU23選手権ロードレースをはじめ、リエージュ～バストーニュ～リエージュU23、ゲント～ウェヴェルヘムU23、フランスU23選手権、ジロ・デ・イタリア・ネクストジェン、ジロ・ヴァッレ・ダオスタなど25勝以上を挙げてきた。そして才能ある9選手をプロレベルに送り出し、そのうちの5選手がUCIワールドチーム アンテルマルシェ・ワンティに加入している。有望な若手サイクリストの発掘、育成、指導を重視し、UCIワールドチーム アンテルマルシェ・ワンティとのシームレスな連携により、育成チームに所属する日本人選手がワールドチームのメンバーとして世界のトップレースに出場する機会を提供したり、日本のジュニア、U23選手がトレーニング合宿に参加して本場の環境で世界水準のトレーニングプログラムを経験することなど、多くの可能性に満ちている。また日本人スタッフ数名もチームに加入している。
Wanty–NIPPO–ReUz is a Belgian UCI Continental team established in 2023 by the UCI WorldTeam Intermarché–Wanty, with a primary focus on development. Under the guidance of former professional rider Kevin Van Melsen, the team has achieved more than 25 victories over the past two seasons. These include prestigious races such as the European U23 Road Championship, Liège–Bastogne–Liège U23, Gent–Wevelgem U23, the French U23 Championship, Giro d’Italia Next Gen, and the Giro della Valle d’Aosta. The team has successfully developed and promoted nine riders to the professional level, five of whom have joined the UCI WorldTeam Intermarché–Wanty. Emphasizing the discovery, development, and mentorship of promising young cyclists, the team works seamlessly with the WorldTeam to provide Japanese riders in the development squad with opportunities to race at the highest level of the sport. This includes participation in elite races as WorldTeam members, as well as allowing junior and U23 Japanese athletes to attend training camps in Europe, where they can experience world-class training programs in a true professional environment. Several Japanese staff members are also part of the team, further strengthening its connection to Japan and expanding the pathway for Japanese talent to succeed on the international stage.
