ユナイテッドヘルスケア プロフェッショナルサイクリングチーム（アメリカ）

2016年に続いて2度目の出場となるアメリカ籍のUCIプロフェッショナルコンチネンタルチーム。チームを率いるのは、第1回ジャパンカップサイクルロードレースの覇者、ヘンドリック・レダン監督（ベルギー）。将来的にUCIワールドチームへの昇格を狙う発足15年目のチームは、春先から、オーストラリア、マレーシア、台湾、アメリカ、モロッコなどのレベルの高いレースに於いてスプリンターを中心に多くの勝ち星を挙げている。ツアー・オブ・ジャパンではスプリンターとクライマーのバランスのとれた布陣でステージと総合の両面を視野に入れた戦いを展開するだろう。

It is their second year for the U.S. based UCI Professional Continental Team to race in Tour of Japan. Directed by Hendrik Redant (Belgium), the first champion for Japan Cup Cycle Road Race, the 15 years old team aims to promote to UCI World Team as they record numbers of victories by sprinters in high standard competition in Australia, Malaysia, Taiwan, U.S., and Morroco. The team should be prepared to win both stage and general classification in Tour of Japan with a well-balanced team composition of sprinter and climber.
