NIPPO・ヴィーニファンティーニ（イタリア）

イタリアと日本のコラボレーションチームとして世界で活躍するUCIプロフェッショナルコンチネンタルチーム。2020年東京五輪に向けたJCFとの共同プロジェクトも同時進行させるエリート軍団。2017年は3年連続のジロ・デ・イタリア出場は逃したものの、その分、ジロと同時期開催のツアー・オブ・ジャパンに主力選手が参戦する可能性は高い。イタリアの英雄、ダミアーノ・クネゴ選手や、かつてツアー・オブ・ジャパンで大活躍したジュリアン・アレドンド選手（コロンビア）らが在籍。一方、リオ五輪日本代表の内間康平選手や窪木一茂選手らにも注目。

Established by a collaboration between Italy and Japan, this UCI Professional Continental Team is competing in the global level, while the team contributes in project with JCF aiming for 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. It was unfortunate for the team to miss Giro d'Italia this year, however at the same time we cannot deny our expectation to see their best riders come over to Japan. Italian star Damiano Cunego and Julian Arredondo, who achieved many victories in past Tour of Japan are part of their main riders and we also cannot forget to mention the Rio Olympic athletes Kohei Uchima (Japan) and Kazushige Kuboki (Japan) as well.
