TEAMS | UTSUNOMIYA BLITZEN（CT / Japan）日本全国に拡大している地域密着型チームのリーダー的存在。これまでは国内中心の活動だったが、昨年からツール・ド・台湾への出場をはじめ、今年のツール・ド・台湾ではエースの増田成幸選手が日本人最上位の総合15位でフィニッシュしている。増田成幸選手はツアー・オブ・ジャパンでも2年連続で日本人総合最上位を記録。また、チームの下部組織であるブラウ・ブリッツェン出身の雨澤毅明選手が伊豆大島で開催されたアジア自転車競技選手権大会のU23ロードレースで6位に入り、同じくブラウ・ブリッツェン出身の堀孝明選手も力をつけてきており、地域貢献活動とともに若手の発掘・育成についても厚みが増している。
The leading team of all the regional teams throughout Japan. Until now they were only active within Japan, but from last year they have raced the Tour de Taiwan. This year in the Tour de Taiwan, ace rider Nariyuki Masuda had left the best record out of all Japanese riders of 15th place. Nariyuki Masuda has also recorded best rank out of Japanese athletes 2 years in a row in the Tour of Japan. From the base organization Blau Blitzen comes Takeaki Amezawa who was 6th place in the U23 road race of Asian Cycling Championships in Izu Oshima. Another athlete from Blau Blitzen is Takaaki Hori who has been also growing. The team often participates in its local activities and is working hard on finding new young riders and how to develop them.
